Our story
Every Homeowner Is the Hero of Their Story.
Local Hero Roofing & Construction
Built in DFW. Built on trust.
Local Hero brings over 20 years of experience to the DFW area. We listen first, making sure every concern is addressed, and every project is handled with expert precision, from roofing to full storm restoration.
But we go beyond construction. At Local Hero, we don't just fix roofs. We build trust, restore peace of mind, and strengthen our community, one project at a time.
We listen first
Every concern is heard before a single shingle moves.
No exceptions
Licensed, insured, certified. The same standard on every roof.
Peace of mind
Honest assessments, clear pricing and no surprises.
Community first
We celebrate first responders, teachers and everyday heroes.
Hero of the Month · August and September 2025
Jimmie & Georgia Green
Jimmie is a high school teacher in the Mansfield school district, teaching electronics and cyber security and running the robotics club at Ben Barber Academy. Georgia teaches 8th grade history in Fort Worth. The Greens live in Arlington, TX.
Jimmie, from Morton, TX, always loved sports and the coaches he learned from, and wanted to pay that inspiration forward. Georgia, from Queens, NY, was lost as a junior high student, which drove her to help future students stay focused on their education.
Georgia has taught for 30 years and loves teaching the Constitution and civic duty. Jimmie has taught and coached for 27 years. They have two sons, Jimmie II, an IT specialist, and Robert, an officer in the US Air Force, and three grandchildren.
To thank Jimmie and Georgia for shaping our youth, we gifted them a $250 gift card. We appreciate you, and all the educators in our beloved state and country.
